Example 1: ABC Corp

Company Phone System Mix: Cisco, PBX Brand X

Company Size: 1500 employees

Employees on Cisco: 900

Appropriate Product: AR Small (Less than 1,000 employees)

Summary: ABC Corp is tired of having to accommodate one employee at a time. Additionally, since ABC Corp does business with the Federal Government, the new Accessibility Manager wants to fully comply with the true intent of Section 508.

While ABC Corp has 4000 employees total, there are only 900 employees on the new Cisco phone system. Since there are only 900 employees on the Cisco system company wide, ABC Corp purchases an AR Small (Less than 1000 employees).

With AR Small, ABC Corp can now deploy accessible telephony applications for their vision impaired, mobility impaired, deaf and hard of hearing employees on the Cisco system enterprise wide.

Summary: Acme, Inc. has Avaya Communication Managers setup globally in clusters for redundancy. Also their small offices have the Avaya IP Office systems setup. Acme, Inc. wants to fully comply with telephony accessibility regulations enterprise wide on their Avaya systems. This allows them to level the playing field for each employee and to minimize their legal risk.

Acme, Inc. purchases the AR Medium from Tenacity and now has the ability to install as many ipTTY clients they want on their Avaya system across the company.
